- Carine Silver Novak
Faceclaim Age; 45 Affiliation; Insomnia / former House Silver oligarch Bio; -One of Rudy’s daughters. Looks like her mother Margaret. -Was always a darling of the people like her father; she would go out often into Platina and wasn’t afraid of talking to commoners. -Part of the reason, she never got along with the other Houses – House Corvus was fine, but they were solitary. The other Houses – especially Golden and Grimm – Carine thought were too violent. -As a kid, she befriended a girl her age named Ramona, or Mona for short. Mona was a commoner, but it didn’t matter – her and Mona were closer than some of her sisters. -When they were teenagers, Carine was engaged against her will to Geneva’s older brother, Gaius. -Though she didn’t love him, at first it was fine because Gaius was so polite and very handsome….. on the outside. -But it didn’t take long for him to show who he really was – a vile, sadistic man who schemed and tortured. -So Carine distanced herself from that, and hung out more with Mona. She told Mona everything, though couldn’t bear to tell her about the orphanages that Gaius once took her to. -Well, Gaius got jealous. -And one day…. Mona was just, gone. No one knows what happened to her. Her family was distraught, but gave Carine some information that made her believe Gaius was behind her best friend’s disappearance. -Knowing what Gaius would do to people he didn’t like, Carine lost it. Now, while she’s much different now, she was a bit of a firecracker back then. -She stormed into an oligarch meeting, demanding that if she didn’t have her friend back, she would bring down House Golden and expose it for what it was. She was so angry at the injustices and violence, her anger boiled over to House Grimm, because they were less than savory too. -Needless to say, her outburst resulted in some oligarch chaos – and Rudy had to drag her out of the meeting. -There was a united opinion—mostly driven from Golden and Grimm—that Carine was dangerous for Silver and she should be executed. Rudy already had many heirs to choose from, why not? -Instead, he exiled her. Never to return to Silver. -Carine lost everything she loved. Her best friend, probably tortured to death. Her family, who never wanted to see her again. Her country, who would be fed lies she died and those who knew the truth would label her a traitor. -When she arrived at Insomnia, she quickly turned to alcohol to cope. She dyed her hair blue, wore sunglasses to shade her eyes, and gave herself the last name of Nova. -She met Ellis at a bar and…. the rest is history. -Ellis helped her forge citizenship papers… they were both drunk, as they usually were, and somehow when she signed her name it looked like a ‘k’ after the a. Thus, her surname became Novak. -Though Carine is usually more drunk than sober, and usually sleeping a hangover off, she really does love her children. -Indigo had it the worst since Carine had no idea how to be a mom, and she was doubly depressed because Ellis had distanced himself after she got pregnant. -She’s especially close to Ramona, although she treats Ramona more like a best friend than a daughter. -Carine and Indigo look more alike than she and Ramona; Indigo shares the same eyes as his mother. -Cried for a week straight when Ellis broke the news her mother died five years ago. Indigo and Ramona had no clue why. Indigo attributed it to Ellis being an asshole. -Carine has tried to get her life together since then.... -Wishes she and Ellis could be married and together. On her sober days, she thinks it would be best for their children, too. -And on her sober days, Carine wishes she was a better mom.
- Maks Tolya
faceclaim Age: 32 Affiliation: Silver / House Corvus Bio: -Grew up on the Corvus estate as son of the Corvus’ personal physician. -Became interested in neurology and study of the brain and brain disorders. -With support from House Corvus, Maks spent the majority of his 20s in Insomnia learning about their medicine and healthcare in a diplomatic-facing role. -Like other members of House Corvus, he’s serious and focused on his studies, but ended up meeting a lovely lady while he was over there. -They ended up marrying, though it took some time and politicking for both Silver and Insomnia to recognize their marriage. -Over the course of several years, seeing that it was only a matter of time before Silver and Insomnia came into conflict, he managed to convince his wife to come with him to Silver. -It took a LOT of convincing. -Though House Corvus is peaceful and all needs are provided for, Maks noticed that her psychological condition deteriorated drastically a few months after being in Silver. -Yves has been accommodating to whatever Maks needs to do to make her well, but… he’s not even sure what that is. And with diplomatic relations fraying, he doesn’t want to risk going back to Insomnia and being stuck there, or being caught in any crossfire. -Through Yves’ relationship with Zuri, Maks has sought as much information as he can about Zain’s experience outside of Insomnia. -But other than that, there’s really not a whole lot of studying Maks can do. Literature and other case studies simply don’t exist. -His wife has some good, normal days. So Maks just clings to that, and gathering what information he can, until the war is over.
- Lysander Karalis
Age: 26 Affiliation: House Rosenburg - A servant of House Rosenburg for around the last ten years - His family still lives in Thule and he sends money back to them because they're just poor farmers - Has numerous younger siblings - Very intelligent, but forewent going to any formal schooling so he could work to help provide for his siblings - He does help with Rosenburg siblings with their research, and helped their father before them - Gets along with Medraut, but he tends to avoid him and often ducks away to avoid talking to him much - Though he lives with the Rosenburgs, he often leaves for days at a time - Since this is always the case, Agatha doesn't think much of it since their house has never been strict - He has gone on numerous trips with the Rosenburgs to Platina and Rudy seems to like him despite his status as a servant - A bit of a klutz, but otherwise a rather guarded person who seems to be uneasy often
- Elyn Vestine
Age: 20 Bio: - Leo and Airell’s daughter. -Super wealthy heiress/socialite, she starts all the fashion trends in Insomnia. -But, like her father, she is exceptionally good with money and finances and always has been, ever since she was a kid. -She once attended one of Leo’s budget meetings with him when her mother was sick, and after the meeting was over, she tugged on his shirt and told him to reconsider one of the investments he was making. -It ended up being a sharp financial decision and it made him a few million. -So while most people think she’s a ditz because of the way she looks, she actually has invested and kickstarted several successful business ventures. She just has a sense of what a good investment is and what isn’t. -She worries about Grif and with the war effort underway, she has asked him to train her on how to fight. Part of it is a genuine desire to fight, but part of it she uses as an excuse to hang out with him. -Despite her appearance and persona of a feminine girly-girl, Elyn doesn’t complain when a challenge is presented to her and she’ll try her best to overcome it. -Likes to party with Dove and gossip about boys sometimes. Elyn had a huge crush on Regis while he was dating Dove, but would never tell Dove that. -She thinks Dove made a mistake breaking up with him, and when Dove shared the poems he wrote for her, Elyn thought they were rather sweet. -Cardinal freaked her out once when they were kids, when he almost burned her with dripping wax. She tends to stay away from hanging out with him. -Though, she’s donated a lot of money to medical research and the company that made the devices he wears. -Her one thing she prides herself the most in is her hair. Just like her mother, she has long, beautiful, golden hair.
- Griffith Altair
Age: 23 link alt - Vash's son - To nobody's surprise he's a bit of a bastard and hard to get along with - He tends to stay close to his father's reach and is very loyal to him - Extremely talented fighter in close combat, but he's good with a gun too - His inability to get along with others is his biggest fault, so he's best suited for solo ops - Joined the defense force at 16 with his father's permission, so he's higher ranking than most his age - He doesn't ever yell or lose his temper, but he's very cold, blunt, and condescending - People behind his back refer to him as his father's dog, but he has never reacted to it - He has no memory of his mother, she was either dead or gone when he was very young - Hasn't really bothered to probe his father about it, he figures he would tell him if he wanted - Avoids Dove and Cardinal because he thinks they're both lunatics - He's...mentally stable enough? Maybe? If anything it's not very overt, other than him being a jerk - He did actually graduate high school, he managed to balance work and school so he's not an idiot - Otherwise fairly quiet and usually watches what others are doing rather than make moves himself - Enjoys drinking, even though he's underage - Strangely develops a sense of humor when drunk and is a lot more open and friendlier - Gale thinks he's just shy and under socialized like he is
- Ladon Griaule Golden
Faceclaim Age; 24 Affiliation: Silver / House Golden / House Fannar Bio;- Ladon’s family lives in the House Fannar estate; his grandmother was a trusted retainer of the family, as is his mother. -He has an older and younger sister, and as the male in a matriarchy, Ladon was seen as most suited for housework. -So, they trained him to be the cook at a very young age, but he was particularly drawn to baking – creating elaborate, beautiful pastries and cakes. -But Ceriasi people are practical, and other than for birthdays of the main oligarch members or very special occasions, such pastries and cakes were seen as a waste of resources. -When Ladon was 11, which was only a few years after Errol married Geneva, House Fannar made the decision to send Ladon to the Golden estate. -Ladon didn’t know it at the time, but the reason was because after Lukas was born, Errol’s unhappiness with his marriage and being in Platina grew. -And, Errol selfishly wanted a chef from Ceriasus that not only he could trust, but could make traditional, hearty Ceriasus dishes. -Ladon was shipped off to House Golden the very next day; though Ryulia drove that decision, his mother was in agreement it was the best thing for House Fannar. -Unfortunately, to test his loyalty, Geneva tortured him as a loyalty test – even though he was still just a child. -Despite those traumatic memories, Ladon takes great pleasure in baking and decorating for Geneva’s elaborate balls and parties. He also handles the dessert portion of her meals. -So although it isn’t always pleasant to live in absolute fear of Geneva, and he misses his home terribly, he has more opportunities than ever to try and outdo his last cake. -While his native language is the Ceriasi dialect, he speaks Common Silver with no accent because of how long he's lived in Platina. If it weren’t for his predominantly Ceriasi features, one might think he was born and raised in Platina. -Speaks in Ceriasi to Errol, and when Ignaz or Lukas ask him to. -On several occasions when he is setting up or breaking down for an event, some nobles have approached him asking if he could cater for other events… but Geneva would never allow him to make just as beautiful – or maybe even more beautiful – cakes for anyone else. -Has an absolutely debilitating fear of thunder and lightning because of how he was tortured by Geneva. -Once hid under the kitchen sink for ten hours because he plugged in a hand-mixer and it sparked just once.
- Yrelorin Drakensang
Faceclaim Age; 18 Affiliation: Silver/ House Drakensang Other pics; here Bio: -Yrelorin’s father is Andrei’s uncle. Though they’re cousins, she’s a proud bat demi-human through her maternal line, and took many of those traits. -She travels a lot for “research” purposes, but it’s mostly to have fun and bug people. -Yrelly is seen as sweet and innocent…. But much like her cousin, the people she spends the night with are not the same after she’s with them. -It’s never as drastic as Andrei’s rumors, yet the men who have been with her say she sucks their blood and leaves them exhausted for weeks…. -But Yrelly is so petite and cute, how could that ever be true? No one believes those rumors, even though she does have sharp teeth. -When she visits Platina, she sees how often she can tease Ignaz or Lukas (or as she calls them, Iggy and Lulu) and tried to scare them into believing she’ll suck their blood. But Iggy just responded with ‘Well I have plenty’. -She then tried to lean into her cutesy persona once, and Lulu called her out on it immediately. -Frustrated she’s been trumped twice, she’s made it her mission to annoy the Golden children. But Iggy is too dumb, and Lulu is too smart. -Still, Yrelorin won’t stop trying. She walks a fine line so she won’t get tortured by Geneva or Arsen, but holds no fear for them. She just chalks it up to more “research”… -Not the most trustworthy or dependable member of the Drakensang family, but she’s close with her family so she’ll carry out cousin Andy’s tasks… when she decides to.
- Lukas Golden
age: 16 - The named heir of the Golden House, despite not being the eldest brother - In his #Angst years, but blame it on his dad for suddenly pushing him away - He has a knack for alchemy, which in and of itself isn't an issue since anyone can learn it - But he has a special talent for transmutation.... - Again, anyone could technically learn that, so it doesn't mean anything...right? - He's always found it irritating that he'd hear whispers of people gossiping that he looks absolutely nothing like Errol - Unlike his elder brother he is actually incredibly intelligent, which makes it harder for him to ignore the gossip and in turn causes more #Angst - Despite being criticized for being too "emotional" and difficult, he is always excelling with his studies - He's helped his mom with executions a few times, so it's safe to say he isn't bothered by it - But he isn't much into the whole torturing thing himself, he just doesn't mind lending a hand when asked - If anything, he's just happy to get some validation from his mother for being useful - Likes being the center of attention, far more spoiled and bratty than his brother - Not at all interested in dragons or anything like that, further distancing himself from his father - He spars with Arsen from time to time, if only because he noticed it puts Errol in a bad mood
- Ignaz Golden
Age: 18 - Gets along with his father better than most of his siblings, if only because he is the only one guaranteed to be his son - Doesn't actually know about his mother's infidelity or that he might have non-full blooded siblings - Although blonde, he looks extremely like a younger version of Errol and stands eye to eye to him in height - Admires Ryulia and has spent a decent amount of time in Ceriasus learning to fly wyverns - Unfortunately oblivious to a fault and not very tactical, unlike his mother - Because his mother thinks him an idiot for this reason, he was stripped of his right of being the heir to the Golden family - He doesn't seem to mind much, he instead works with the wyvern knights when he is allowed to - Never brought on dangerous missions however, as they fear what would happen if they let him get hurt - He's....friendly? Charming? A Himbo? Spoiled and a little dumb, but nice - There's talk he might soon be arranged to marry Felda and solidify the Golden house's position with House Silver - He's not super interested in the idea, though... She's just not his type - Knows about his mother's tendency to torture people, but so desensitized to it that if you asked him he would just shrug his shoulders - Doesn't notice that his parents relationship sucks, either. He just thinks it's normal - Only just turned 18 very recently
- Isak Choronzo

His mother managed most things for him until he was about 15. - He fought in the uprising despite his young age, because he wanted to prove himself. His dad was killed in the process of saving him, which he has carried through his life. - A very respected leader among his community, as he steps in to help wherever he goes and makes them feel hopeful for a better future. - He is cousins with Aigha, through his mother's side of the family which we're not demihumans. - Very standoffish to outsiders, though he is one of the few in Rubidium that are fluent in Silver Common - Was nicer to Zain than he ever was with Silver sailors whenever they stopped by, since Rubidium trades with Insomnia and has no bad blood with them.

Age: 24 - Sharpshooter working directly under Vash - Comes from a very prestigious family and used to be working as a model - Says that her reason for joining is because she had a friend in Hevan that may have died in the invasion - Has no way of knowing, so decided to go find out for herself - Turned out that she was incredibly accurate with a sniper - Tends to be a pain in the ass for Vash because she's a spoiled brat, just happens to be very useful - Doesn't seem to be bothered much by the idea of having to kill people - As long as she doesn't have to fight people up close, she doesn't care who she has to take out
