Despite being a member of House Silver, Ragnar is more dedicated to work than he is interested in women.

He is also from a branch family, and is cousins with Felda and Junior. His relationship with them is cordial, but not close.

He's irritable, but not cruel -- just a workaholic that gets mad when he has to deal with people who are lazy.

He has worked onboard Zain and Castiel's vessel as a cartographer since he became an adult. They say that you will never be shipwrecked with him on board!

All those being mentioned, he, of course, admired Zain and absolutely hated Castiel with every fiber of his being.

Hoped to God that Castiel would just fall off the boat one day and disappear, but fate wouldn't allow it and he had too good of morals to just shove him off.

So, he just avoided him the best he could and pretended he didn't exist.

Now, Castiel is the leader of House Grimm, and his words aggravated him even more -- fellow sailors really thought he was going to burst a blood vessel from how angry he was.

That said, he knows damn well that idiot was lying through his teeth about everything he said, which angered him more...because Sven was certainly dead, and Castiel was certainly in charge. So what the Hell?

All that aside, Ragnar has no issue with Llyr and respects him just fine, although he hasn't been in charge long enough to have a strong opinion on his leadership.

Ragnar was thrown in the water during Insomnia's attack on their blockade, but he managed to swim to safety on his own.

This has made him develop a grudge against the Insomnians, and he tends to hold those for forever.
