6.Rubidium

Located in the present day area of Houston, this is a barren waste of a desert few ever travel to and fewer can survive living in. The sand here is a deep crimson red, supposedly because of the minerals it contains, but locals say that it is the blood of their families that were slaughtered after an attempted rebellion that failed fifteen years ago.

Many of the strongest dragons that Silver breeds are trained by the citizens of Rubidium, who use them for hunting and fishing mainly. A great deal of them were lost in the massacre, so the majority of the remaining dragons are still rather young as their population slowly is rebuilt.

Compared to the people of Helios, who live a similarly difficult life in another desert city, the people of Rubidium are not known to be very easy to get along with and are incredibly distrustful -- all the more so since the massacre. After the rebellion, their reputation among others in Silver became that of a pariah and they're rarely able to get along with anyone else.
